چکیده
Waste glass is inert and non-degradable which leads to enormous environmental sustainability troubles, but it can be reused in concrete due the potential of pozzolanic activity. This study proposes methods on activity excitation waste powder (WGP) including mechanical, chemical, mechanical-chemical activation. The results showed that mortar containing 30% 75 ?m WGP activated by method was optimal increase mechanical property reduce detrimental expansion. In addition, microstructural analysis conducted explore activation effect WGP-cement system. An artificial intelligence (AI) based multi-objective optimisation (MOO) model proposed seek mix proportions for unconfined compression strength (UCS), alkali-silica reaction (ASR), cost. A comprehensive dataset investigated 549 specimens UCS test 366 expansion test. Random Forest (RF) utilized prediction ASR values with hyperparameters tuned a firefly algorithm (FA). high correlation coefficients (0.93 0.91 ASR) verified feasibility FA-RF. Subsequently, FA-RF extended as objective function mi-objective (MOFA-RF) obtain consequent Pareto fronts. paper combined experiments, machine learning prediction, design mortar, provided basis practical application.

Utilization of waste glass as sand replacement in cement mortar
In this study, alkali silica reaction (ASR) expansion and strength characteristics of mortar containing waste glasses are analyzed in terms of waste glass content and glass color. Three different colors of waste glasses (white, green and brown) are replaced with sand at ratios of 10%, 30% and 100% by weight. The mixtures used in this study did not show a considerable ASR expansion. All batches ...
متن کاملPolymer-Cement Composites Containing Waste Perlite Powder
Polymer-cement composites (PCCs) are materials in which the polymer and mineral binder create an interpenetrating network and co-operate, significantly improving the performance of the material. On the other hand, the need for the utilization of waste materials is a demand of sustainable construction. Various mineral powders, such as fly ash or blast-furnace slag, are successfully used for the ...
متن کاملFull Elite Sets for Multi-objective Optimisation
Multi-objective evolutionary algorithms frequently use an archive of non-dominated solutions to approximate the Pareto front. We show that the truncation of this archive to a limited number of solutions can lead to oscillating and shrinking estimates of the Pareto front. New data structures to permit efficient query and update of the full archive are proposed, and the superior quality of fronta...
متن کاملMulti-Objective Optimisation for Information Access Tasks
Information access tasks involve setting a large number of model parameters (such as term weighting functions or the particular terms from the document collection to use in the model); in addition, information access tasks frequently attempt to satisfy multiple competing objectives, such as precision and recall. We investigate the use of multi-objective evolutionary algorithms for finding model...
متن کاملMulti-objective optimisation for regression testing
Regression testing is the process of retesting a system after it or its environment has changed. Many techniques aim to find the cheapest subset of the regression test suite that achieves full coverage. More recently, it has been observed that the tester might want to have a range of solutions providing different trade-offs between cost and one or more forms of coverage, this being a multi-obje...
